An idea for the limited range of electrics
The biggest problem with electric cars is their limited range, which makes it difficult to use them for longer trips.
An interesting solution is offered by the French company EP Tender: a trailer with an extra battery.
The idea seems absurd, but in fact it has more advantages than disadvantages.
The answer to the limited range of electric cars are trailers with additional battery backup (60 kWh capacity).
The French company's strategy is to use these trailers only in situations where longer coverage is needed on an ad hoc basis.
Such circumstances are, for example, traveling for vacations or winter vacations, these trailers would be scattered at gas stations and parking lots along the most popular transportation routes - they would be rented only for the duration of the trip.
